My name is Daniel Beaumont, I have recently completed studying for a Design MA at Northumbria University. Previously to this, I successfully graduated with a Graphic Design BA Hons degree from Colchester School of Art, situated on the University Centre Colchester campus. I am extremely passionate about every aspect of visual design and on multiple occasions I have been described as having a meticulous attention to detail. Not only do I enjoy the digital side commonly associated with graphic design, but also the variety of physical hands on aspects. Branding/rebranding and silk screen printing are two areas that I have had the most experience with. As well as this, I have also completed projects in a wide variety of other areas. Recently, I have self-taught the 3D modelling software Cinema 4D, and I am currently in the process of learning HTML and CSS. I have the future goal of gaining a more in-depth understanding and knowledge of UI and UX design.

When it came time to give myself and my portfolio an identity, I wanted to create something a little different to what everyone around me seemed to be doing, e.g. 'Daniel Beaumont Design' or other similar variations. I wanted to create something with a brand feel which was also memorable. I have always collected well designed print (Posters, Leaflets, Business Cards, Etc.) since before I can remember, so much so I could be described as a hoarder. I took this idea and changed hoarder to hoarda to create something new to give me and my portfolio some individuality. Since then hoarda has stuck.
